Oh, “spiders in sock drawer” are much scarier!

Gee, Petey, what are the leading 312?Alice, that was very brave and honest of you to admit that you’re scared of the wormhole tube slide [which, by the way, seems much smaller and less complex today compared to recent appearances].

“Boring” is always the coolest excuse.

I’ve told this one before on this site: One night I heard a “click, click, click” in our Florida house. Sounded like Venetian blinds blowing in the wind. I got up to investigate, and there on the unlit kerosene heater in the hall was a “rice-and-food-coloring” picture made by one of my daughters. I’d put it there to dry. Feasting happily on the rice was a huge Florida cockroach. They may not be the largest, but they can give you a run for your money, especially when they fly at your face.

I’m afraid the tube will come apart and take off my backside like a cheese grater.

Hmm. Jan Eliot, Dan Thompson, Lynn Johnston, Stephan Pastis, Jim Davis, Mark Tatulli, Tony Carrillo, Greg Evans, Garry Trudeau, and probably more (I don’t follow them all), are Team Cul de Sac members and advertise the book on the GoComics pages for their respective strips; odd that it isn’t advertised here.

Guess I’ve seen most of those except for bugs in my drawers. I have lived and traveled many places.
