Who can resist a beach beagle?

One of the very rare times Snoopy actually says something.

A little backstory here: The girl beagle’s father didn’t approve of Snoopy because he hadn’t graduated from obedience school.

I never knew Snoopy could go “Yoo hoo!” But then again, I never knew he could carry a surfboard almost twice his size.

Dogs wear clothes all the time. It’s a very lucrative business. But I really don’t see many dressed up Beagles.

Poor Snoopy, he’s going to get his heart broken again. Unless of course her father isn’t there.

As for Snoopy speaking with word balloons instead of his usual thought balloons, it happens sometimes, but sometimes it’s a mistake. In an early Red Baron strip, in the last panel, Snoopy cries, “I’ll get you for this, Red Baron!” with a speech balloon.
