She’ll get right on it, Joy. Let’s see, four daisies, probably picked in the empty lot. They are so thoughtful..

Or the cemetery…so cheap of them. They give straight from their little cheapskate hearts. Good morning fellow Dinette lovers…They are my dessert for the day.

Tibia or not tibia? Keeping the vase is out of the question.

Yeah, real expensive vase (vozz?) — looks like a dollar store special. GOTTA have THAT back! No hurry, Joy can wait until her friend is out of the hospital. But don’t take TOO long. Waiting until the cast comes off to return the vase is very poor form! Heavens, but what would Miss Manners have to say?

Purple, if memory serves me, Miss Manners would very nicely and politely eviscerate Joy, and Joy wouldn’t even know it for a week. Come to think of it, Joy wouldn’t notice it ever! Notice is not a word in her vocabulary or understanding, amongst many others.

They would have given her a +get well soon* card too, but they still haven’t gotten the envelope back from the last time.

    Good Morning Cursties!

    Good Morning, Crustwood Pals!

Every thrift store has a few dozen of those ill-molded thick glass vases that come with arrangements from florists… they usually sell them for about a quarter … Joy buys ‘em all on half-price Fridays, and paints names on the bottoms with nail polish…if “your” vase isn’t on the shelf… no more flowers for YOU.

BTW she wants that margarine tub back too… c’mon, you remember….the one she sent you the dozen home made Oreos in….well, only 10 and a half fit in the tub… and they were actually Dollar-O’s, but you can hardly tell the difference, right?

Marshall’s always had nice looking vases that look like cut crystal (I used to buy for my mom so when I took her flowers there was a nice place for them, but it was nice enough that it made it’s way to my brother’s house ;-(

They also brought her a box of assorted candy, but the cellophane was missing. when she opened it it, all the chocolates had pinch marks in them. Turned out all the candies were either coconut or filled with that orange cream that nobody likes.
