We once had a cat by that name, only he spelled it Phideaux.

Yeah, the middle mouse does seem to have a bobbed tail.Face in the grass and on the speaking mouse’s belly. There’s something in Mr Fido’s shadow but I can’t figure out what, assuming it’s supposed to be something.

That cat has only one thing on his mind-dinner!

A few days ago the cat came in the back door, stopped in the middle of the kitchen and regurgitated her latest meal . It contained a fresh leg-o-rat with the intestines and a foot still attached. I very nearly added my most recent meal to the mess as I cleaned it up. …… I will dream up a happier ending for this cartoon.

The clock struck one, but I have a feeling that Mr. “Fido” Cat is planning on striking all three.

Laflin Larry, I’d say two or three faces in the grass. And I’m wondering what kind of grass that is, since they all look pretty high.
