One person with a bit of humanity…

I haven’t been following this strip very long. Was he a Designated Evil Colleague?

I don’t think he was gloating – nice touch in the last panel..

It makes sense to escort a disgruntled employee out, but security policies can sometimes get more than a bit silly. A few years ago I finished a computer contract in Washington state. The customer was happy with my work, and I was happy with the customer and ready to move on. When I was packing up my personal effects my supervisor told me that policy required him to escort me to my car. We were parting on excellent terms, but I could not be trusted because my contract was over.

Secret crush?

I had no escort when I was forced out of my job Bwaaa haa haa.

I don’t think Betty should have been fired and she surely did not need an escort to get her personal things and leave the building. I hope she does not remain friends with Alex

All that for a 4 out of 5 rating for the company .

file for unemployment….the company will have to pay part of that.

Dale may be a softie, but he still gets Betty’s chair for as long as he is still employed. .fellow co-workers never cease to surprise. And some days…. that is a very nice thing.

I like the way Betty took charge. They’re making a big mistake letting her go.
