Cats tend to pick their owners!

Cats do that. And they put out secret cat signs marking the homes of suckers. One morning, along with the others at breakfast, there’s a black cat. Not a neighborhood cat. Never seen it before. Never left. It’s been 12 years, and now the thought of him leaving is very hard.

I had a large cat come marching into my apartment as if it owned the place. I let it check out the rooms while I was on my computer. Later I found it in my bed. I shooed it off the bed and it acted insulted. It wanted to go out, so I let it out. It never came back. Maybe it was looking for an apartment with people who let it sleep on the bed. I kind of missed it after that.

I had a tomcat once that I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I did. I drove him 200 miles and pushed him out. Next day he showed up at my door. I did everything i could think of and he kept coming back. So one day I chopped his head off, put the head & body in a crocker sack & tied it shut, threw the sack in a river 500 miles away and thought, finally, i’m rid of that cat. Next morning I heard a scratching at the door. I opened the door and there the cat was, with his head in his mouth.

I’d rather be infested with mice and rats than to have one cat.

This is totally my cat! He started visiting my wife and I at our apartment about two years ago and moved right in. We took him with us when we bought a house. …. and he’s gray too!

After our grey lady died, the neighborhood tom ambled into our house, visited every room on the ground floor, and then left. We figured he was paying his condolences.

My mother always had cats but I have always been a bird person. Feral cats (any who don’t have owners to keep them indoors) ar always invading my garden to hunt the birds. This is NOT part of the cycle of life; they are an excess that should have been neutered the same as people who mistreat their kids. It is the owners fault for being too lazy to even take advantage of free services.
