Geeze someone teach that woman how to use a freezer. When “farm share” gives you extra you don’t force feed tons of it to your family til their throwing up sick of it, you freeze it and serve reasonable amounts later.
Lying about what you like (“my favorite…”) only makes it worse because she’ll make it for you more often. :-sYeah, it’ll spare her feelings, but at the cost of your stomach and appetite. :-(
Really, folks. You obviously haven’t tasted my wife’s kale recipe. I was dubious, but I have to tell you, there are ways of making green veggies taste wonderful. Honest. And frozen food instead of fresh from the farm? Perish the thought.
