I love the taste charcoal grilling gives food, but this strip depicts the exact reason I gave up on charcoal grills and bought a gas grill.
I made the mistake of throwing some fat and gristle to a neighbor cat once, and now he comes running every time I fire up my gas grill.
Gas or coal?

Our new grill does both. Gotta love it.
Charcoal + hickory chips. Best flavor.
@Tony-too hot to grill outside here in Phoenix. (tho’ I have one if kids want to use when they visit). I only use my nice big VIANTE electric indoor grill. OK to eat stuff that the kids do- and my kids are all around 50 now (more or less).
