My cousin and I saw “The Advengers” in 3D a few weeks ago. We were told we’d get a 50% chance of getting dizzy and nauseous. Neither one of felt that way. (Nice how Garfield threw not his voice, but his thoughts in a ventriloquist act in the title panel.)

People are quite clueless when it comes to 3D. Most people just think “Oh, it pops out and looks like it could touch you.” 3D means Three Dimensions, so depth. I find it more interesting that we can look at 3D movies and see it as if through a window.

But it’s not a good 3D. It’s augmented to give lots of foreground and not very much depth. As a result it’s too much “in your face” and not realistic at all.

If The Amazing Spiderman has proven one thing then it is that 3D means the same movie in 50 cent more expensive.

When you’re a ventriloquist, the audience often finds it difficult figuring out which one’s the dummy.

The dog should not be kowtowing to Garf-he’s twice his size. He’s a lot bigger. Love the drawing of the dog, does he have a name?
