I’ve never heard of anyone actually going to a farm to work as a vacation. A “visit to the farm” (usually with kids) to see what it’s like, maybe, but not a “stay at the farm and work all day” deal. This whole story would make a lot more sense if Chaz had said something like “We should visit my aunt this summer. She has a farm I used to love visiting as a kid, we used to ride horses and jump into the hay!”
I wonder if Carmen changes into PJs. So far she has worn that blue outfit non stop….still, it is more attractive than the turtle neck orange top year round ‘uniform’.
“summer break” from school was not to give the kids a break, it was so they could work on the farm. Even today, in some rural towns, all the businesses are closed so they can get the crops in – including the mayor, the barber, the librarian…..

I’m waiting for the mafia to show up and kidnap Poncho (mistaken identity for witness dog).

What is Chaz hanging up? He hasn’t worn anything that was green plaid…….he’s only worn a T-shirt with Plankie on it.

1. Seems to be a trend: Canadian comic strips with farm “vacations.”
2. Will be easy for Poncho to count sheep—-only one.
