I understand why cats with fur don’t like water, but why wouldn’t Fleshy enjoy it?

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! If you water the lawn, you have to mow the lawn….what’s wrong with you people? Fortunately, because of the drought, I’ve only had to mow the lawn twice this year since March….it’s a beautiful khaki color…That’s the neat thing about grass. You can’t kill it! Even if you light it on fire, it just gets stronger and healthier…..I’d rather shovel snow than mow the lawn…..

Fleshy! When all is said and done, you are still a cat. The sprinkler water will not harm you.

So, why did the sprinkler stop and turn back? That’s not how they work. Am I missing something?

I don’t mind mowing (I would never water the grass, though, unless I’m trying to establish new sod or seed), but I definitely prefer shoveling snow. With the exception of trying to remove the huge, icy chunks that the snow plow leaves behind, how could anybody not get a kick out of digging out of any storm that leaves under two or three feet of accumulation? I’ll take a big snowstorm over any other kind of weather, hands down.

I lived in Nevada, let me assure you, fail to water grass when it’s dry enough for long enough and it WILL die. Even crab grass will go dead as a doornail with less than 10 inches of liquid a year.

I know I’m way late and no one will be reading this – but I love, make that lurve, mowing the lawn. Sunshine, clean edges, the beautiful smell of freshly mowed grass, being outside in the healthful summer air – cold beer… mmmmm…cold beer…..
