President Obama would not have inherited this problem if it weren’t for Bush’s illegal war in the first place. Since the President did fulfil his promise of ending Bush’s illegal and pointless Iraqi fiasco, I have every confidence that Obama will get us out of Afghanistan so that they may know peace and not live in fear of being killed by drones.
Considering there was absolutely no need to invade, or put boots on the ground there in the first place, “exit”, is just a word for “W”, Rumsfeld, and Cheney failing miserably.
Listening to Rush’s stand-in moron saying how “W” WON the war there, IN TWO WEEKS!!! Yup, he drove the Taliban out and established a peaceful, productive, nation, in just TWO WEEKS!! All you need to do to believe it is ignore yet another decade of failed U.S. “war policy”.
Why not just give Halliburton another few billion?-BTW, can someone explain our objectives in Afghanistan?-Are there people on this board who think we should stay?
