Except, Lola, that the first preseason NFL game was last night. I didn’t watch it, but I understand that, for the first time ever, they had a woman referee. ABC said that she “broke the grass ceiling.” She had previous worked as a preseason side judge.
ABC didn’t know what they were talking about. Shannon Eastin was a line judge, NOT a referee. She is already a 16-year veteran of officiating, and is a referee in the NCAA’s Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

I am more of a College football fan than the NFL……..too many egos in the NFL………..who do i like ????ummm…any team who’s mascot is a Duck…( go figure )
