Even creeps in Libya, Syria, Tunisia, Egypt, and elsewhere were or ARE, “the government”. Iran, India, Pakistan, Burma,etc? I’d list Italy, but from day to day, nobody seems to know who the government is there. Italy is more like changing underwear and government at the same time.
Libya is north Africa, Egypt is also actually Africa, as opposed to Asia, but as to “Middle East”, they’re ALL more than a bit bonkers, don’t have any favorites. Now Virginia, that’s “middle east”.

Just where are you from, boy? Only Russia & China objected in the UN —the US sided with the other Nations on imposing sanctions on Syria.
