Why doesn’t the wife get a job? She loves to spend money on organic food and other expensive things while her husband dislikes his job and worries about not getting a raise. Yet she stays home—her mother is there to care for Nate. Maybe it’s just a sore spot for me as I never had the choice of not working!
every woman works, be it at home or in the business world….if she is in the business world, then she often works 18 hour days because she is still expected to come home, help with homework, cook, clean up after the meal, do laundry, get the kids into bed, fix lunches for the next day, talk over any problems her husband brings up, and take care of the most urgent cleaning problems, etc….if she isnt in business, she does all the above plus more than likely, helping as a grade school room mom, volunteer work, yard work, running kids from here to there, you name it!…women do, have and always will work in some form or another!
