me too……you’re REALLy old if you remember that phonograph players used to come with FOUR speeds:16 , 33, 45 and 78 rpms(I must admit though, that I never saw a record that would play at 16——well, they all could, but at the correct speed recorded)

Records were thick, heavy and easy to break or scratch. Needles were tipped with a diamond or sapphire. Good old days.
