Quite frankly, senator, I suggest you have some drinks and pass out. Problem solved!

Question: If we live in a democracy in which everyone knows that our government is made up of conniving, scheming, obfuscating corrupt bastards with their noses stuck in a trough into which they pour as much money as they like (i.e. party politicians), why do we keep ending up with the same old rubbish?

If you’re in this Congress, Senator, you won’t vote for any bills at all.

Get your “facts” straight.Close to half of U.S. households currently do not owe federal income tax. The Urban Institute-Brookings Tax Policy Center estimates that 46 percent of households will owe no federal income tax for 2011. 1 A widely cited figure is a Joint Committee on Taxation estimate that 51 percent of households paid no federal income tax in 2009.2 (The TPC figure for 2009 also is 51 percent.)Those aren’t the so called 1% not paying taxes. That’s over 1/2 the people you see every day.

Might as well vote for it. If you vote against the bill, hussein obama will just do an end run around Congress with an executive order.

Thanks once again for another excellent post. You make it extremely difficult for the opposition to find flaws in the content of your post. There aren’t any.All Chaz could do was to cite a right wing think tank with nonsense figures.Perhaps we might figure into the 46-51% cited just how many are living in poverty and can’t pay taxes.Then we figure in the working poor who make so little, they’re in the same boat as the poor.Of course we don’t figure in the number of homeless living in cardboard boxes and under bridges. Some ritzy household,huh?And let us not forget all the other taxes paid by these slackers in the so-called 46-51%.State and local taxes, gasoline taxes (if they can afford wheels, sales taxes, etc. ad nauseam.Chaz would have us believe all these people get a free ride. Good grief.
