@kemaher: You’ve apparently never read any Lord of the Rings books or seen any of the movies. Gollum is a character that has been corrupted, enslaved and mutated by the “One Ring” which he calls “My Precious”. It was stolen from him, he does anything to try and get it back and if he gets it back he’ll never give it up.
Mine’s a tale that can’t be told, my freedom I hold dearHow years ago in days of old when magic filled the air‘twas in the darkest depths of Mordor, mm-I met a girl so fairbut Gollum and the evil one crept up and slipped away with herher, her, yeah, and ain’t nothin’ I can do, no
If you have the time, the Tolkein books are very engaging. I read them years ago and the emotion of carrying that ring channeled to me so that I felt as if I was carrying the ring. Movies were very enjoyable too.

It’s great that by not even going to the movies, one can know the cartoon is all about Lord of the Rings. Thanks for the answer.

I hope that restaurant serves fish, because that’s all Gollum eats.

I have only read “The Hobbit”. I didn’t read LOTR although I wish I had. “The Hobbit” is a really good book though.
