    ā€œPeacefulā€ is good. I confess that ā€œservileā€ rankles with me too ā€“ ā€œservice-orientedā€ would be a much better term and state of mind, something we ourselves need to learn from. ā€œServileā€ means something entirely different (look it up, if you want to know how bad and donā€™t already), and I wonder if this is merely a slip of the cartoonistā€™s literary tongue or a reflection of broader attitudes of the time when this was created.
