How old is Lila’s mom supposed to be ? Not everyone in their 50s doesn’t know how to send texts. I’m 55. I had no trouble learning how to send texts over 10 years ago when I first got a phone that was capable of sending them. Neither did other people in my age group that I know.
51 here… and very tech savvy with smartphones and the latest computers. It’s my brother and my mother who are the technophobes of the family. I have to teach them.

My mom’s turning 56 this year, we had to teach her to text a couple years ago, she’s good at it now but doesn’t shorten anything.
