There used to be a prank program you could load on old DOS computers that started up on boot, and after a randomly determined number of keystrokes, came up with an error screen that instructed the user to reboot. If you selected the “yes” option, it came back with “Are you really sure you want to reboot?” then “Are you really, really sure you want to reboot?” and so forth.
