When I press the button, the TV turns on! When I flip the switch the light turns off! When I pull the lever, Dad yells real loud!
I’m no plumber, but remind me: is it cold or hot water that goes away when the shower is on and the toilet is flushed? Also, why is that?
Cold water goes away, which makes it hotter.

Bad plumbing, or old pipes full of lime, and the toilet can make it at first hot, then cold when the valve closes suddenly.
