Critical people should be criticized.

I’m back!

Go Comics notified me that my animations on Peanuts and elsewhere were a violation of the Terms of Agreement and they disabled my comments last weekend.

The issue is copyright infringement—-reproducing in whole or part content without permission.

However, the Fair Use clause does permit reproduction on comment boards as long as you don’t profit from your work.

The only profit I earned were the smiles of everyone who enjoyed the animations.

I’ll just post links like Hobbes.

Nobody has to read the comments they don’t like; that’s what the scroll function is for. I do it all the time.

The only thing that’s critical about you is your state of mind, Lucy.

I don’t know, as strange as it is to side with Lucy, I’m not sure I agree with keeping quiet about a good friend’s faults for the sake of ‘politeness.’ It may be tough to hear about something like that, but once you realize you can try to change. Of course, hearing about something you’re aware of over and over can be tiring.

I’m a Top Cat fan and will click on whatever extra bits he posts. I printed out today’s contribution and put it on my wall.

Ironic how the topic of the comic is critical people, and this strip gets a fair share of them. What amuses me the most about the comics page is that it seems to attract a lot of sorry folk.

Keep your mouth shut for a change, Lucy.
