Notice that the generator is in the house as well. Must have taken his science education in Texas.

The seventh anniversary of Katrina is approaching. If you were there, this is a lot more relevant.

my only experience is when a tornado warning or even a severe thunder storm warning is given…either might leave us without electricity or cause damage to our home….no one could be dumb enough to sit by a window….but we need supplies handy if we are hit…..voice of experience. One winter snowstorm left us without power more than a week, and roads were impassable to go get supplies or have anyone come to help. It is no joke when you can’t cook or heat or cool your house in cold or hot weather “disasters”….the Boy Scouts have it right….“be prepared”…

Note: conservative mantra is that carbon dioxide, AND carbon monoxide are “good for the atmosphere” so running the generator inside won’t do any harm.

Peanut butter really doesn’t mix well with the gasoline though.

AS to Katrina: a large number of SEABEES were helping to clean up, and rescue folks in Mississippi, when Bush pulled them away, and sent them to Qatar, to sit around and do nothing, while people in the states were still seeking help. Yup, that playground in the sand pit was WAY too important.

Yes the gas goes outside, along with the generator. Marshall knows that. He lives in Mississippi. Maybe he will address that on his talk show Monday.

Where I live, gas went up 35 cents / gal overnight as soon as the storm was predicted to go into the Gulf.

so, isaac is heading towards tampa, convention is still on? what happens when it hits? or misses, but hits the panhandle? does the gop pray to god for a miracle to steer the storm towards the panhandle or new orleans again? and, do they take credit for the miracle, because they prayed?

It’s amazing so many libs are on this site, as they are famous for not having a sense of humor. But wait … after reading some of their posts, I’m proved right. Oh yeah! Just an extension of their need to harass everything good and wholesome out there … now I get it!

The 2008 Republican National Convention held in St Paul, Minnesota was delayed a day because of Hurricane Gustav. Does God hate Republicans?
