You ever see Captain Ruiz in a good mood?
Of course. She's my wife!
her job is extremely,ely serious.
So, what makes her smile or laugh?
Arrests, convictions. long prison sentences...
I wonder if cops actually do get a dang kick out of arresting seeing convictions and prison sentences, I doubt it. IF they do they got in the line of work for the wrong reasons.
I love the fact that she’s happy when she does her job and can see the final outcome of that effort. Many people aren’t that lucky. I know more than a few people who hate their jobs. I tell them that it’s better to have a job to complain about than no job at all.
Necessary for society, but how many multiple arrests are made of sexual criminals or bank robbers? Generally it is several hundred First Amendment exercisers, or finding a guy with a warrant out, ramming his pickup to end a chase, and firing 41 bullets at him to end him. He took time to put in another clip, but not to aim – only a few killed the suspect, but the passenger was not killed, unlike the dining room window of a nearby house. And despite the usual accuracy of the corporate media, this did not happen in Dallas, but two suburbs, Garland (Arlan on TV) and Mesquite.

When you send someone you know is a bad guy to court with a solid case and the DA gets a conviction, yeah, it feels good!
