This is just about how far being PC has become.

Here in Georgia, my neighbor from Jamaica pointed out that she is black, but not African-American.

And the latest color in a box of crayons…. African American!

African American is not accurate. They are not from Africa. They are Americans if they were born in America. They are only African Americans if they were born in Africa and emmigrated to the U.S. They are Americans of African extraction, but as some have pointed out, some are not from Africa but from Jamaica and other Central and South American countries. I know two lovely black ladies who are from Jamaica and Guyana.

This humorous comic strip clearly proves that PC has gone too… nuts; couldn’t keep a straight face. How do those other guys do it?

And that doesn’t even get into the problem of Melanesians frrom Fiji or Nugini.

Didn’t Joe once chide his Grandpa because the globe was out of date? It said ‘Indian Ocean’ instead of ‘Native American Ocean.’

The same could relate to today’s strip about people. Blue box if you would, please.

I have a friend, I don’t know if he is Black Or African American, I just call him James. He always answers me. He in turn calls me John. Seems to work for us.

If you must give me a name I prefer black. I did not come from Africa I was born here. White south Africans who come here are African America. But that’s not right either because people from south America are also Americas. So if you were born in the USA what should you cal yourself?

It’s not often that I agree with NightGaunt, but this isn’t really PC. I’m sure the school did not tell them to say ‘African-American Mail,’ they just extrapolated that from the word ‘black’ in ‘blackmail.’.As for African-American, was it Teddy Roosevelt who said that American does not need hyphenated Americans?
