Woman: How about behind the hatbox next to the halloween stuff in the attic? Man: Already looked there. Woman: Well, if that wad of emergency cash ever gets stolen, the burglar should be congratulated, not arrested. *It's possible to hide things too well.*

Oh, I do this all the time! Not with cash, since that stuff seems to fly out of my hands faster than a fly on fire….

When I was young, my brother and I found a jar of pennies that were way in the back in the closet. We thought we had found a treasure trove, and would periodically take out a couple of pennies for candy. Boy, did we catch hell when my parents found out. No more hidden treasure.

Ain’t that the truth. I made a list on my computer about where I hid important things just in case I forget, but I still find things occasionally that I forgot I still had. ;-)

It’s losing the little things that bug me. A couple of weeks ago, I bought some trash bags for the bathroom. Now, I can’t remember where I put them. Thought sure I’d put them in the vanity cabinet, but I can’t find them.
