I’m soooo glad that Joy has changed from those inconvenient kaopectate suppositories, And to learn how much that on-line MBA has helped her in the management of the Penny family finances.

I used to answer calls for a cell phone company, you wouldn’t believe how many people like the Penny’s called in wanting us to remove charges because they’re idiots.

Joy, if you have a limited plan you talk on the house phone when you’re home. When you’re not home and it’s not important you call them back when you get there. (spoken very slowly).

I don’t understand why so many are eliminating land lines. If I got a cell, I would probably only use when traveling. Since I hate driving and flying is worse, I will only travel to spend more time with my lover. I will be praying for a VERY mild winter in Chigago ;-D

That is NOT one of the early cell phones. They were the size of a shoebox and those huge batteries did not last long. With his HVAC business, we were very familiar with those from the beginning.

I’m glad I don’t have my land line anymore. Even with do not call, I had charities and my service providers calling me all the time. And they always seemed to call while I was either cooking or eating dinner. No more land line and I can turn my cell phone off.

Grog, I wondered about getting those unsolicited calls on a cell (and paying them). My print caller ID lets me know when I get thm on land. 2old,My Garmin also has the stangest pronunciation of many streets -Tatum has a long A, and Pima with a final vowel seem to be foreign concepts.
