I guess it’s a matter of opinion. I don’t really like waiting for the punchline because I’m never sure if there’s supposed to be one. Plus, it does take longer. But it’s not that big a deal.
I used to read “Cornered” in Long Island Newsday, until the Tribune Media scandal forced changes involving downsizing.That included cutting the strip because it took up so much “space”. Luckily, I reconnected on line & can enjoy it daily without any crap. Thank you Mr. Baldwin for your hysterical panels, & please consider me pro-animation.

I’m still undecided about the animation. I have to remember to wait for it to shift, rather than figuring the caption got left out, or something.
