After to listening to Bob Newhart’s ‘Driving Instructor’ routine as a child I vowed to never teach Driver’s Ed. …and successfully avoided it for all of my teaching career. (I think the ex-marine who did teach it and always looked like ‘nervous Don Knotts’ after getting out of the car had something to do with it too)

I always thought most of those “conditions” you see ads for on tv were made up by the folks trying to sell you cures.

I had a wonderful instructor and always use the street not the sidewalk. Know I have to cross it when pulling out of a driveway.
