When we got our first husky, I was running across the yard with him on a retractable leash, when the leash reached the end, I looked like guy in the comic.
So many people believe a leash is there to let them know where their dog is, or to stop it from running away when in reality it is the connection to your dog that lets him know what you want him to do. A properly trained dog will happily trot along beside you and not ever tug on the leash. SO many humans need leash training!

When I was a boy, we had a German Shepherd who would take myself and two of my brother for a drag at the same time.
