I got hugged at a wedding a couple of weeks ago. It caught me by surprise.

I like a hug better than a handshake. You can keep more clear of colds by turning your head (as most people naturally do) while hugging, while handshakes transfer germs all over one’s hands, which also get transmitted all over the others who are shaking hands along with you.

I think I’ll skip that party.

The hugging refresher course comes with a twist. The preliminary to hugging is “Show me your vaccination card”.
