I get a kick out of those 30 day free trial ads. If you read the terms you find out you must cancel the product within 14 days after it is sent to you which leaves you about 10 days to try the product out. If you fail to call and cancel, you then are charged full price for the product, plus you will automatically receive and be charged for the product every month until cancellation. Since 10 days would not be long enough to judge the products value, it’s not really a free trail. The company hopes you don’t bother to read the terms which are in small print on another page of the ad.

I’ve seen references to “Marco Polo” on Big Bang Theory… But I’m still none-the-wiser… What’s the joke ?

Everybody seems to think that “Marco Polo” was Italian. In fact, he was Irish: Mark O’Polo.
