You choose the pace at which your eye scans the page, pausing to admire a particularly fine panel, a well-chosen onomatopoeia, an intriguing whoopee cushion ad - Alice: What I don't get in movies is when the actors get too close to each other and their eyeballs flicker back and forth while they're talking. Like this - Petey: QUIT! Alice: You'd think they'd get dizzy and throw up. Petey: Like I've been reading this page for three weeks and I'm only half done!
