Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for January 31, 2010
Transcript:
Alice: There's a bird who lives in the grocery store! Petey: There are lots of them in this store. They've been here so long, they've developed regional characteristics. Those who live in the snacks aisle are fat and lethargic. The birds in the coffee aisle are never still. Those in the cereal aisle have gaudy, unnaturally hued plumage. Birds in the ice cream aisle have grown fur. And those in the dairy aisle have a distinctive call. Bird: MOoooo... Alice: Ha! And I thought nature was boring! Petey: Nature's most interesting when it's indoors.
