Not for the first time, a superb, original sound effect; pubpf, for the exploding flour sack that did hit Dill in his dream. So, maybe Alice is right in real (cartoon) life, but not in Dill’s inner dreamscape! Anyway, who wants the airways cluttered with slow-moving walker-trikes?

If Dil had E.T. with him, it’d be like Godzilla in TWO fat suits! Bet Dill’s brothers would be able to hit him then.

I used to dream that I was hovering above the ground. It was always so disappointing to wake up.

Even Carl Sagan dreamt about flying, when he was a kid. Wrote about it in Pale Blue Dot.

It’s true that a trebuchet (whoever is manning it) wouldn’t be very effective for surface-to-air combat in a purely ballistic sense, but Dill’s bothers are also handy with small explosives. If they rigged a couple of M-80’s to the payload with a time fuse, they could probably detonate the flour sack near enough to the kiddie-car’s flight path to give Dill a satisying flour-coating (even if it might not bring him down).

O…M…G Too hilarious! I never knew Dill’s brothers had such bad aim – maybe it’s intentional?
