Kevin: Miss Bliss, I don't get it. Who is Ms. Sloppysmock? Miss Bliss: I am, Kevin! Ms. Sloppysmock is my artistic secret identity! Whenever I put on this old, paint-stained smock I found in the supply closet, I become an avatar of the creative impulse, endowed with arts and crafts skills far beyond those of most mortals! Alice: Does this mean she's going to be fighting crime? Miss Bliss: Okay, class, let's get to our new craft project!

No, Alice, you’re confusing her with the Crimson Bolt.

The problem is that adults are idiots. And when idiots try to mimic the over-active imaginations of children to try to blend in, they get it wrong. You can tell when they get it wrong because their “play-acting” always has a moral or an ulterior motive behind it. “Real children” don’t need that. Real children just need a bedsheet for a cape, and then some crime to fight. Stupid adults. “Buckethead-boy to the rescue!”

More like she’ll be committing a crime against good art everywhere. And Ruthie won’t be happy with them flooding the market with really cheap art – that’s her department.

I don’t know why, but people always toss me small change when I wear my sloppysmock. Must be some other kind of superpower…

Imagine Dill’s awesome super powers as “Mr. StinkyPants”! No criminal with a functional olfactory system would dare challenge him…

Bless ol’ bucketheaded-Kevin for asking that pointed question! Now Ms. Bliss has been forced to reveal her secret identity before the whole Preschool Gang! Is Ms. Sloppysmock doomed? Tune in next time, art-adventure fans!

Someone is trying to justify their baccalaureate degree in Arts & Crafts. Four years effort not in vain.

If we didn’t need teaching credentials we could help with the lack of art in gradeschools.
