Alice: Is it still adult swim? There aren't any adults in the pool. Mom: theres a lady in it. Alice: But she's way over there! And she's just standing in the pool, not swimming! Mom: So? Mom: there, she flapped her arms a little. Alice: Thats nothing! She's making a hollow mockery of adult swim!
I understand Alice’s frustration; I used to be like her. But now that I’m old enough to have grandkids, I appreciate the time when there are no kids in the pool.
