Petey: Neglected lawn decorations are a sure sign that the festive portion of winter is at an end, leaving only the bleak, hard months of cold and gray. Alice: Petey says a tipped-over electric snow-man means it's going to snow! Beni: Great! Let's go kick em all over!

I’ve been telling hubby that once Twelfth Night is past, we – ahem, “we” – need to take down the decorations. However, it is raining stair rods today, so he’s safe until tomorrow.

She takes bad news and turns it into good, like a turtle on its back flipping over. Luckily, I’m able to do this, too. I feel for people who always flip onto their backs and stay there, kicking and moaning.
