Are there cultures in which burping is considered a compliment? If yes, which?
I don’t much care what other cultures might think. I think it’s disgusting.

Uh…Try Middle East, East Asia, and South Asia.And it’s a compliment to the chef that you are satisfied
The only two cultures I see is Dad and his son (if you know what I mean).
Do you always save the big pieces for later?
And when they do, just hope you are not around. ( it isn’t just the boys.) My G’Daughter could put an 18 wheeler to shame.
