Re: today’s strip. It’s her own fault. In none of the first three panels were the males of the household looking directly at her when she mentioned it.

Tony, I don’t like Christmas Story so I’d have to say the fade to black after the movie. My 2 favorites are It Happened On 5th Avenue & Christmas In Connecticut.

Uh, you could just buy the latest edition with all the bells and whistles and watch it without commercials. And I cannot believe it came out so long ago. I like the Old Man’s non-reaction to seeing Randy hiding under the cabinet.

I’m not waatching any Christmas specials (except the ones on Food and Cooking network). I don’t like sentimental stuff that causes tears and there are so many shows on my season passes now as well as some mini series’ on SciFi and A&E that I plan to catch. This is why I love TiVo; I never watch a sporting event (unless for visitors) and I get to see all the shows I like.

My favorite part of A Christmas Story is the end credits ‘cause that means it’s over!

My favorite Christmas movie is the original “Miracle on 34th Street”, and I guess “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” sort of qualifies as a Christmas movie, as does “Home Alone”, the first one. Can’t recall every seeing “A Christmas Story.” The 3 I mentioned are quite satisfying for me.

Well since the majority seems to think “The Christmas Story” is excellent, I guess I will have to watch it. I assume you are all talking about the movie with Peter Billingsley.

The part where I turn off the TV or change the channel when they announce that it is coming up next…
