I thought you were talking about money! I would love to have re-usable fabric money…. But, if you’re talking about bags, then a mix of all three (I’m no purist).
Cardboard produce box for produce and plastic tub for heavier items. Eco friendly, efficient and no problem with groceries rolling around the trunk/hatchback.
The plastic comes in handy for the daily scooping of the litter boxes. Some of them are made pretty cheaply though and rip before you even get them out of the store!
If its bags we are talking about, reusuable cloth ones we get free at the state fair every year (about 6 between us) – if its cash or credit, I pay with cash via a plastic debit card. .And Tony, Merry Christmas and thank you for the strip and your daily questions, that both entertain and educate your readers.

Doesn’t the mom look a little like she could be Beavis’ or Butthead’s mom in today’s strip? Especially the last shot!

Plastic—most paper bags don’t have handles.
