Me too! Last Huey ride was to Tan Son Nhut air base in 1970, to take the big silver bird back to the States. (a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away!)
Yes I’ve taken a helicopter ride once in Hawaii. We were on the island of Kauai and were lucky enough to actually fly into the dormant volcano. The pilot said it was the 3rd or 4th wettest place on the planet and they rarely get to fly in. You know you’re going someplace special when the pilot gets excited.
I wanted to ride one over my own house to take photos, but did hot air balloon with BF and his younger daughter (it goes wherever the wind takes it- he prefers to have that again here but I would love to take arial photos of my garden.
At Grand Canyon we did a small plane rather than helicopter with my son who in marketing at Bell Helicopters and his family- his wife was airsick, I was fine as were the grandkids; I posted photos on my Webshots.

First ride in a helicopter was over Niagara Falls with my dad. This was back in the ’50’s and I think it cost $5 each.

NO. I have never been in a helicopter eating tree either. Is this tree a cousin to Charlie Brown’s kite eating tree?

No and I don’t plan to either.

Haven’t been in one, don’t plan on it. I’ve never even been on an airplane and I don’t plan on that either.
