    Honestly….is a shoe any weirder than this….

    or this…

Yet the Princess … or the Royal Family… paid few thousand pounds each for those hats…. maybe Elliot has a future in millinery.

What’s the weirdest thing you ever put on your head?

I was about five, and couldn’t locate a hat, so I went outdoors with a pair of underpants on my head. My mother was mortified.

Not much. Some of my hats have been a little unusual, but considering that I grew up in a time when women wore hats that had no practical value, they were not so strange.

My hard hats: Traditional shape, but white & encrusted with some faux gems AND cowboy shape, white.

Winter hats back in Midwest: After the movie, Dr Zivago, I made a coat and hat of a faux mongolian lamb (grey) fabric and trimmed both coat and tall (cone-type) hat with black seal fur from an old stole of my mom’s.

Never have been big on hats. Craziest is my Santa hat complete with tiara. Since its -4F outside I’ve been wearing a red and black checkered hunters hat that comes down over my ears.
