AccuWeather said it was 82 with a chance of rain.It wasn’t either.That’s the SF Bay Area for you.

Yup…. Santa Rosa forecast 87, hit 95..still 73 at 11pm…I know for some of you that’s not unusual… but for us, with our expectation of cooling nighttime fog even after the hottest days, that’s 15 or 20 degrees warmer than a normal summer night.

2Old… you said you’d lived briefly in Chico, as a kid….My friend who lives near there says it gets too hot in Chico for the flies to fly…they just lie there, moaning "Somebody swat me, please…

It went up to 307.15 Kelvin last week. It was only 294 today

It’s cool in the central Valley of California, low 90s. when its hot its mid 100s.

Heat index in the 105 – 110 range.

No. Hasn’t made it to 100 yet.

It’s 82-f at 9 AM in Baltimore. Predicted to go up to 100. Probably with humidity to match, and it won’t even be raining. (Thank Heaven. We’ve just lived through the wettest month on record.)

After reading all the comments, I guess it’s down-right cool here in Northern Idaho at 92 degrees. Will be in the 80’s the rest of the week. No rain in sight. If you have to make reservations to complain, that will take all the fun out of it.

In the 90’s by noon, heat indexes over 100, LOVIN’ IT! :-)

What’re you making reservations for?

I’m not making any, but Native Americans are making a reasonable amount of $$ on their Reservations with their casinos…

Since the nephew seems to live their rent free, shouldn’t Peter be asking him, what do you plan on making for dinner. Seems only fair.

Oh, and Spork, not contributing ideas for dinner removes your right to complain. At that point you will have 2 choices: take it or leave it.
