Aw c’mon…. you mean I’m old enough to be Peter or Peggy’s mother, but I know what clubbing is, and they don’t?

And they’ve never done it?

Meanwhile… Tony asks, of course….

Yeah, sure, Tony…. I dance all night in high heels and skinny silver jeans….

just like I run marathons, climb mountains, and drive race cars.

Clubbing has been used widely in that context since at least 1948 to my certain knowledge – how old are these people?

I do like a good club sandwich.

Slang can be a kerfuffle!!! I don’t Club any more, when young its cool now I can’t stay awake and the music is to loud!!!

I suppose I did once, but if you only went to one club, is that still clubbing?

We did it, just didn’t call it “clubbing”, to us it was “bar hopping”.And in those days, no, I didn’t wear high heels and shiny silver jeans. Being a guy and doing that would have been a faux pas….to say the least.

I wanted to say that we must be ‘clubbing’ in the same place. I remember seeing those skinny silver jeans. I was the one in the mini skirt doing the ‘stanky leg’ under the disco ball. fun times
