Basketball? Used to like it, but we girls had an awful male gym-teacher then – and I had already significant breasts back then, ruining the technique.

And volleyball – weak wrists. And when jumping – see above.

Pete, a screwdriver and a kitchen appliance?

Boring?

Wait for it – he’ll screw that one up for sure.

Basketball? A long time ago in gym class other than that we had to work after school.

Got kicked off the team for my weak sense of direction. I’d run the ball to the wrong end of the court and once even managed to score a basket for the opposing team. I was a sports klutz. You name the sport and I messed it up. I was a good cheerleader though.

Play?

Isn’t that what I’m doing when I post on the comics?

It may be boring, but it will make a big difference in the money you make, the cars and toys you own, the vacations you take, the house you live in- Do you want me to go on?

I can’t stand basketball or soccer, so no I don’t and never will play.

Basketball – run back and forth (squeaking) for most of the game then stretch the last five minutes into ½ hour.

I was playing basketball one day in gym class and missing some easy shots. coach told me to stay out and practice some shots, so i tossed the ball toward the basket from the corner. Nothing but net. coach just shook his head.

You play? Remember the phrase ‘White men can’t jump’? That’s me along with dribble, shoot, pass, block, etc. Hell, with skinny @$$ I couldn’t keep the bench warm.

Oh, I can do boring though. I’ve been told I’m really good at that.

Dad appears to not realize that Ivy League schools do not give out sports scholarships. He would still be on the hook for the tuition, housing, and books.

I did play in high school, but when you’re only 5’1" it’s not the best sport.
