Back nigh well onto 40 years ago, we had a babysitter (14-y-o) who our boys told us was having her boyfriend over while we were gone.
I spoke to the young lady, told her that I needed her paying attention to my kids, not her hormones.
Her Mom came over and said she wouldn’t be sitting for us anymore, and how could i say such a thing about her little girl???
Ran into Mom a few months later; she acted like nothing had happened, and gave us their family news – including the impending motherhood of the aforementioned daughter……….
