Just kidding of course…, I would never encourage slapping the smirk of of a precious stupid child.

When the wife and I had our first child she wanted to do Lamaze Child Birth. About halfway through she looked at me and said “This is all your fault.” I replied, “As I recall, you thought it was a great idea at the time.” Perhaps not the wisest think I could have said in the middle of a contraction.

Too little, too late. However, the Roman and Greek Empires did allow the abandoning of children on garbage piles where anyone could take the abandoned children and use them anyway they wished. A disciplinary option that parents don’t have today which might explain why children were more compliant with their parents wishes early on. And of course, abortion was allowed. Yes, those were the two great early Western Civilizations…..

I guess Peter needs a refresher course on the birds and the bees.

The way they treat each other, it does make you wonder how they conceived.
