Another reason I hate leaf blowers. Get a freaking rake!

Horace is back with his leaf blower. I guess he still “Hates his neighbor” . One of the funniest strips from back in September of ’09.

Mulching blades help nature by chopping the leaves up and putting them back into the turf. As they decompose, they actually serve as free fertilizer. If your lawn is weak and sparse, look into it. (Plus, if cut extra short in the fall, leaves will have more of a tendency to just keep going when the breezes shuffle them around.)

Could be worse: Years ago some strip (not this one; but I think one on this site: perhaps Non Sequitur) postulated the existence of a bagpipe-powered leaf blower.
